Live in Cincinnati and keen to be an extra on one of Ellen’s films? Now is your chance! (Lucky things!)
CINCINNATI — Production company Killer Films is seeking extras to appear in “Mercy,” a film starring Ellen Page and Kate Mara that is currently shooting in the Queen City.
The romantic drama is about two women in love whose families are politically opposed. Volunteers are needed to appear on set between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Oct. 3, Oct. 10 and Oct. 11.
Extras will have the chance to meet actors and producers, take part in raffles and giveaways and experience work on a Hollywood film set, according to Killer Films’ open casting call page. People with questions about the shoot are invited to email MercyGroupCasting@gmail.com. Register your chance HERE.

Gaycation hosts Ellen Page and Ian Daniel were at the Emmy’s yesterday for their nomination for Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program. Unfortunately, they didn’t win and the award went to Born This Way on A&E.
Photos have been uploaded to the photo gallery with Ian Daniel and her girlfriend Samantha Thomas, (which we are shipping by the way!) looking lovely on the red carpet as they always do. Head over here to check them out!
If you are familiar with snapchat, Ellen and Ian took over Viceland’s during the event and we have them for anyone who missed out:

Israeli filmmaker Tali Shalom Ezer will direct Ellen Page and Kate Mara in the romance-drama “Mercy” with shooting set to begin in Cincinnati in September.
Ezer, who made her feature debut with “Princess,” will direct from a script by Joe Barton. Amy Seimetz, Pablo Schreiber and Elias Koteas have also been cast in key roles.
Producers are Christine Vachon and David Hinojosa for Killer Films along with Page and Mara. Executive producers are Robert Halmi Jr. and Jim Reeve through their Great Point Media and Karri O’Reilly.
Page is portraying Lucy, the daughter of a man on death row falling in love with Mara’s Mercy character, a woman on the opposing side of her family’s political cause. As a result, Lucy’s value for truth is tested as her world begins to unravel.
Page first revealed the then-untitled project last year during a news conference at the Zurich Film Festival, where “Freeheld” was screening, saying, “I’m focusing mostly on stories that are meaningful to me and stories for women and supporting more gay characters.”
